WORKSPACE / ACCOUNTS

Keep each account in the right context.

Organize named crypto exchange connections in Schizo Terminal, select the account used for orders and keep different account contexts visible in split charts.

Connections you can recognize.

Give each exchange connection a distinct name: for example, “Bybit Live” and “Bybit Demo.” The name identifies a saved connection in this device’s workspace. It is separate from your Schizo sign-in and from the exchange’s own account identity.

Add the key once for the supported market coverage of that connection. The combined Bybit derivatives connection covers linear and inverse markets, so changing from BTCUSDT to BTCUSD does not require a second saved key. Check the compatibility table for account-mode requirements.

Choose where an order will go.

The active account and symbol provide the trading context. Use the main account selector to switch it. In a split chart, use the pane’s connection selector and select the pane you want to trade; order entry follows that selected context.

  1. Confirm the connection name on the selected chart.
  2. Choose an instrument offered by that connection.
  3. Select that chart for orders.
  4. Inspect the account, symbol, side and quantity shown by Place Order.

If the stored connection is disabled or unavailable, the pane should show that state rather than silently substituting another account. Read the split-chart workflow for a step-by-step example.

Account switching has a clear scope.

This workflow chooses the account used for an instruction; it does not create automatic copy trading or synchronize orders between accounts. Check the scope of any bulk action in positions or orders before confirming it.

Live and Demo need matching environment credentials. Their balances and available actions can differ. Public prices may still load when a private connection fails, so verify private account information after adding a key.

Save the workspace on your device.

Saved connection credentials and layout preferences are encrypted in the device vault. A different browser or device starts with its own workspace. Use an encrypted backup to transfer your setup, and keep the file and its password private.
