Use your existing account#
Open Chat from the terminal. Your terminal sign-in also enables community access; there is no separate community account to create.
Choose a public nickname with My name. Your private email address is not used as the displayed chat name.
Catch up on the history#
The community stores messages online so signed-in members can see the conversation after returning. The latest messages load first; use Load earlier messages to read farther back.
A “Live · saved history” status indicates that the shared conversation is connected. Reconnecting resumes from the message history rather than starting an empty local chat.
Messages and shared emojis#
Type a message and choose Send. Use the emoji picker for the bundled Pepe emojis; other members see the same shared emoji assets.
Community messages are shared with signed-in members. Do not post exchange credentials, recovery phrases, backup passwords or other private account information.
If chat asks you to sign in#
An older desktop session may need one normal sign-in to activate its community credential. Use the same terminal account. This upgrades access; it is not a second registration.
