Read the balance in context#
Balance panels show the private account data supplied by the selected exchange. Wallet balance, equity, available balance and margin are different values and may be denominated in different currencies.
Check the account mode and settlement asset when a value differs from another exchange screen. Spot, unified, cross-margin and isolated-margin accounts can expose different fields.
Leverage and margin settings#
The terminal displays or changes supported leverage and margin options through the exchange adapter. Available values and effects are controlled by the venue, product and current account state.
Changing a size display to notional does not change leverage. Before making a live account change, review the exchange’s current requirements and the terminal’s confirmation.
If balances are blank#
Public market data does not require the same permissions as a private wallet request. Check that the correct API account is active and has the required read access.
