Follow the order lifecycle#
Open Orders lists working instructions known to the exchange. Fills records executions. An order can be accepted without filling, partially filled, canceled or rejected.
When an order is missing from one view, check the selected account, instrument and filters. It may have moved from open orders into history after filling or canceling.
Amend or cancel an order#
Use the row’s action controls to amend or cancel where supported. Check the exchange response and refreshed order state. Canceling a remaining quantity does not reverse fills that already occurred.
If a request times out or the terminal disconnects, check the exchange before sending a duplicate instruction. Keep the order ID when reporting a problem, and redact credentials from any screenshot.
